Annual Children's Arthritis Holiday Party
Each year the San Diego Alumnae Chapter provides activities for the children at the American Juvenile Arthritis Organization (AJAO) Holiday Party hosted by the Arthritis Foundation for children with arthritis and their families at the Mission Valley YMCA.

Camp Welcome Bags for Children with Arthritis
Every year the chapter fills and decorates bags to be donated as Welcome to Camp Bags for the children at the American Juvenile Arthritis Organization's (AJAO) Summer Camp.  Can you or your company help?  We need donations of 60 - 70 of the following items for the bags: flashlights, playing cards, Frisbees, pens, pencils, visors, sunscreen, chapstick, writing tablets, beach balls, etc. For more information, please contact info@aoiisandiego.org.

San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic (SDAP) Scholarships
AOII helps San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic (SDAP) fundraise money to give out scholarships to local San Diego highschool women to attend college. For more information, please contact the Panhellenic Delegate (see contacts page for officer) or visit the SDAP website (www.sdaph.org).

Operation Beanie
Miki Sessler of California Yarn Sales in Huntington Beach asked whether the Army and Navy could use beanies for servicemen and servicewomen. The US Army said they can use 40,000 for Iraq now. US Navy said they would take about 400,000. WE NEED KNITTERS AND CROCHETERS! Pass this along to all who can help! Learn more about Operation Beanie.
