Welcome to the San Diego Alumnae Chapter
San Diego alumnae chapter is composed of AOIIs from collegiate chapters across the continent, of various ages, interests and professions. What we share in AOII brings and holds us together. And together, we work for our community, care for one another, pursue common interests, learn from one another, and have fun!
There are so many rewards to alumnae chapter membership! As a chapter member, you have the opportunity to make new friends, be involved in philanthropic and other worthwhile activities, "network" with other AOII's, discover new interests, support the Fraternity, and have fun!
History
We have a long history which dates back to our chapter founding on June 13, 1931.
Joining Our Chapter & Membership
Our new membership year starts in September and runs through June of the following year; however, our member dues have to be reported to AOII headquarters on 2/1. You may join the chapter and pays due online. If you were not an AOII in college, but are interested in becoming one, there are alumna initiate opportunities.
San Diego Honor Scholarship
The Alumnae chapter has an endowed scholarship fund through the AOII Foundation. It is available to AOIIs with a preference for San Diego Alumnae.
Collegiate Support
We support several collegiate chapters. Learn more about the chapters and what you can do to help!
Philanthropy
In addition to supporting the AOII Foundation, the chapter also supports local charities through time and money donations. We have volunteer opportunities through the San Diego Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
Awards
As a chapter, we present annually awards at Founders' Day. In addition, we are a prestigious chapter that has won many awards.

Newsletter
We mail out a newsletter at the beginning of the year. However, our events are posted online in the Calendar section. All dues paying members will receive a copy of the calendar.
